Soccer is fun! It's even more fun when playing with people who understand the fundamentals like: passing, receiving, heading, shooting, juggling, and dribbling. The primary purpose of this group is to schedule open training sessions to work on basic skills and co-ed pickup games. House Rules: Sportsmanship is in effect. Fair, ethical, respectful play with a sense of fellowship with all players is required. No fouling, slide tackling or any gamesmanship tactics that could lead to injury. Infractions of this rule could lead to ejection from the game. Keep the game moving. Off-sides, out of bounds, hands, and unintentional fouls will only be called if clear and obvious or under rules of sportsmanship called by yourself. In these cases pass the ball quickly to the other team and keep playing. Corner kick will only be granted only if the defense intentionally kicks the ball over the goal line otherwise goal kick. The person who runs for the ball unchallenged gets to bring it in. There is no 11 meter. Keep in mind there are inexperienced, mature, and/or injured coed players on the field. No trophies or cash prizes will be handed out at the end of the night and next week the teams will be different. Have fun, be safe and respectful at all times. Otherwise FIFA rules are in effect.
