SSCUM - St George and Sutherland Commty of Ukulele Musicians Meetup

Together we will be strumming songs, new (contributions on the night) and old (from our club songbook). We will endeavour to provide relaxed guidance to new players and visitors. We provide an opportunity for players to present numbers in a performance style in front of a friendly audience if they wish. Occasional opportunities will be available through the year, to participate in community ukulele activities if desired. Contact with other Ukulele clubs at times will be a feature of our activities. News of Ukulele Workshops, beginners lessons, and visiting performances will be available. Ukuleles and ukulele songbooks and accessories will be available for sale. Beginners are most welcome and the emphasis will always be on fun. Donation of $7.00 per person is welcome.

It was a relaxed and enjoyable evening. The pace was good. I was glad to see we used the yellow book more. I enjoyed the performances and the sing-a-longs. John Kok did a good job. Mary Schneider was a gracious, charming and talented guest.

Sorry to miss this month...I've been bitten by the flu bug but hopefully next month I'll be there.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
