Hello I have just received a Uke and wish to learn. I felt individual lessons may be better till I get a heads up but cannot find anyone in the Sutherland Shire to learn one on one do you know anyone. KInd regards Helen.
Learn how to play and enjoying playing along with other once I know a little about it.
learnt 6 chords on the internet. Only had the Uke for 1 week.
Cajon, I can read music used to play the Piano
Depends who you talk to. I like a lot of musical instruments however I think the uke will give me what I want and more portable. I sing.
Hi Helen, I would be happy to give you a private lesson before you leave on your trip on May 21. I live in Miranda and you may call me on 0425 332 601. I can give you a 1 hour lesson ($65) which will get you started and in a position to play simple tunes with a good technique and improve with practice. You will have a lot of fun. I will supply you with printed material.
You will be in a good position to drop into any uke group then and play along. You may wish to join my college workshops later.
Looking forward to catching up. Have a great trip.
Hi Helen. Thanks for joining. While the uke club is a relaxed an fun evening, you may be interested to join my Begiiners Ukulele Workshops I run at The St George and Sutherland Community College. You may find course details and ring or book directly with them on line. These are extremely popular and fill fast. You will be playing almost straight away. Term 2 sessions start soon and I hope I can see you there. Cheers
