Manassas, VAUSA 20111
May 19, 2012
I have been motorcycling for thirty years and I guess my cumulative miles is well in excess of 450,000 miles driven.
Currently I'm riding a 2003 Honda Goldwing, 1800 CC.
I have been group riding since the early 80s in several motorcycle clubs in Texas, Mass, Virginia, and Korea.
My name is Marcus Marioneaux and I live here in Bristow, VA for the last nine years. I retired from the US Army after serving 21 years. My interests are of course motorcycle touring and during the colder months I have fun playing saxophone.
I've been with a lot of ride clubs over the years and these folks are just a great group of people to ride with, I really had a good time riding with them. The route to Naked Mountain and Old Rag and back was just beautiful. The ride captain (Larry Huth) did a great job explaining hand signals and safety issues during the pre-ride briefing. He even called ahead to the pizza restaurant in Madison, VA to arrange for our lunch to be ready when we arrived. I will definitely be riding with the group again on the next meetup.
