Introduction
I've studied JavaScript quite a bit. I created and teach a course on jQuery. I've dabbled in Node.js. I live in St. Charles, so would prefer a meeting location that is not downtown.

Mark, welcome to the group. Sure, the meetup need not be downtown. I live on the edge of the Central West End, but I doubt the CWE vs. downtown would affect your travel time all that much. Maybe we should wait just a bit to see who joins and try to pick a location that's relatively central to all of us?
