This is a group whose goal is to meet other software developers in the area, and conduct mock coding interviews with one another. If you've ever tried finding a software developer job, you probably know that more and more employers have been adopting an interview process that involves several rounds of intense technical interview questions, asking you to come up with an algorithm that solves a given problem on the spot, in a short time frame. Most of us have no experience with this kind of situation since it doesn't happen outside of interviews, and so in order to improve our chances, we must practice!
Even if you're not currently looking for a new career, you might be interesting in joining this group because:
• You would like to meet and network with other software developers in the area.
• You think coding problems are fun, and like to challenge yourself.
• You may be back in the job market someday, and want to keep your coding skills sharp in the meantime.
