Thank you Allan for agreeing to do this...our previous announced speaker is becoming a daddy of twins and cannot attend...he will visit us in the near future to talk about "Investing in Property Using Your IRA"

SO WHAT PASSED ON NOVEMBER 7th and WHAT DOES IT MEAN FOR ME? It has been just a week since the elections. What changed? What didn't? And how does it affect me and my investments? We will cover the list of local initiatives and talk about what it means for you...

WE ARE DOUBLING THE PAY FOR ALL BOARD MEMBERS!! This is a volunteer run organization. We need new people to serve on the board to help us plan events, and bring in members and speakers. It is easy to serve...Board members meet once a month for an hour, and assist with meeting details including food and drink. Paid Members of STLIPA will vote on the Board...if you want to join the board, please let us know.

ANNUAL STLIPA CHRISTMAS PARTY will be December 5th from 6:00 PM to whenever...doors open at 6:00 PM on the First Wednesday of the Month. PAID MEMBERS OF STLIPA will get a reduced price event ticket of just $10 per person if paid before Thanksgiving. People paying after Thanksgiving must pay $20 per person. Event will include food and drink (non-alcoholic) with cash bar. We will do a "Re-gift Bash", so everyone is expected to bring a special gift that you really want to pass on to someone else. We will have door prizes and raffles. Location and other details will be discussed at the member meeting and posted to Meetup.

CALENDAR UPDATE:

3rd Wednesday in December Meeting is replaced by Christmas Party on 1st Wednesday at 6:00 PM.

Lunch at Cecil's on 11/22 is Cancelled Due to Thanksgiving.

REMEMBER TO RSVP FOR EVENTS VIA MEETUP.com:

Whether you are a new member or a long-time member, please be sure to RSVP for events. For each event, you can RSVP for yourself and any guests. Just like you, other members and potential members  check the attendance to see if an event is "worth" going to. As our regular attenders know, most monthly member meetings turn out between 30 and 60 people, sometimes more. Lunch at Cecil's events turn out 15 to 40 people on average. Classes and special events usually sell out. We use our attendance numbers to help us plan other events. If you RSVP via Meetup, we have an easy way to track who is coming and who is not, to plan for food, hand-outs and other details. And, via Meetup, you can make suggestions for improvements and new meetings. So please sign up today at www.Meetup.com.

DUES TIME AGAIN...

This is the bargain of the century...STLIPA Dues are an amazing $50 per year for up to TWO PEOPLE...that includes your spouse, partner, significant other, business partner, kids, or whoever (as long as there is a connection). That includes 10 Monthly Member Meeting (with light snack/food and soft drinks at each event), 50 weekly lunch meetings (buy your own lunch), Annual Picnic in June newsletter, reduced tickets on the holiday party, and so much great information and networking. Or you can do a pay-as-you-go version for just $10/meeting per person (except Holiday Party).

For just $50 more, you can join BOTH the REL 520 and REL 695 groups as well. These groups piggyback on the STLIPA Monthly Member Meeting, but they will have reduced price tickets on classes and seminars including RRP Repair Renovate and Paint EPA Class, Landlording 101, Fair Housing, Concealed Carry, Pre-license Classes for Salesperson and so much more. See Bryan Young for details or call[masked]-3867.
