Bachata & Salsa party with taxi dancers & beginners classes

Now it's time for our 5th bachata party this year. We'll have 3 courses in bachata:

  • Bachata styling at 7pm with Harriet Rautio, open for both girls and boys
  • Beginners course at 8pm
  • Bachata coure for you who have done the beginners course, also at 8pm
  • Social dancing starts at 9pm

Then social dancing through the night.

Esther and Hernan, two of our teachers:

And Harriet's Bachata styling also from our party the 11th of January:

Intro class in Kizomba

Daniel and Carmen in Bachata warmup

We recommend anyone who is not used to the dance to come for the intro class to get you going.  We then continue into the night, dancing.

Here a couple of pictures from the party on March 31, 2012:

Social dancing

There will be a dedicated dance floor for Bachata, and one for Salsa.

Location is Klara Södra Kyrkogata 20, right in the center of Stockholm.

Entrance fee will be  120 SEK, courses are included in the price. After 10 pm 80 SEK (note that the courses end at 9, but 120SEK  the price remains until 10). Students get discount upon presenting student card, to 50 SEK. Prices may be adjusted downwards, if so it will noted here.

We have a deal with a non-drinking organisation that makes it possible for us to do this, so there will be no alcohol, just dance. Oh, and free sandwiches, candy and Fika: good coffee, tea, and sparkling and non sparkling water. We will try to sell some hearty food too, to fuel us through the night. Also feel free to bring food of your own if you want to, to fuel yourself or for sharing.

Sorry you couldn't make it Michelle. If you can't wait for the next Men Dansa event (which I'm guessing will be in about 3 to 4 weeks) there's another Kizomba/Bachata/Salsa party on the 20th. See http://www.facebook.c... for the details.
