With ever increasing complexity and competing priorities in the workplace, securing the attention and commitment of the workforce is becoming harder by the day. Why are the vital characteristics of successful change neglected? What can you do to secure commitment and gain traction in your change efforts?

In this webinar, McKinsey experts will investigate the primary reasons for program failure. We will also review case studies to highlight key strategies and technologies employed to overcome these pitfalls that resulted in an engaged and energized workforce.

About the Speakers

Shaibal Roy, McKinsey & Company

Previous to McKinsey & Company, Dr Roy worked in hospital medicine and then alternated between web start-ups and academia. He was a member of the National Health Service (NHS) Future Forum, a group convened to advise the Government on the implications of controversial legislative change for the NHS and championed disruptive digital innovation for healthcare improvement.

Edward Kitching, McKinsey & Company

Edward Kitching is a Manager with McKinsey Solutions in the New York office. Through his career, Edward has been working closely with front-line innovators and policy makers to better understand how technology can be used to drive improvement programs as well as wider economic and social prosperity. Majoring in Technology and Innovation Management, he spent over three years working with European governments to explore and evaluate technology enabled change programs before being seconded to the National Health Service (NHS) in the UK in an advisory capacity to an innovation fund.

For the past two years he has remained in healthcare in McKinsey, investigating the role technology can play in the adoption and diffusion of best practice, before moving to the US to focus specifically on program management tools to support large scale change efforts in a broad array of sectors and contexts.

This event is sponsored by McKinsey Solutions.
