Patrick Reed – Operations Manager, Washington Secretary of State, Corporations and Charities Division
Patrick Reed has been with the Corporations and Charities Division of the Secretary of State’s office since 2008, as the manager of Operations, including outreach and education. This Division registers all domestic and foreign corporate entities in Washington State. His focus is to provide compliance information to new and existing businesses to help them be successful in dealing with state rules and regulations. In addition, Patrick represents the Secretary of State’s office as chair of the UBI board, Small Business Liaison Team, multiple inter-agency committees and stakeholder workgroups.
Brenda Riley-Customer Service Specialist, Washington State Department of Revenue Business Licensing Service
Brenda Riley has worked with Washington State Department of Revenue in the Business Licensing Service (BLS) area for over 23 years. Her job focuses on informing potential business owners about the different state, local and federal licenses they may need, and assisting them in the state licensing process. In addition, She represents BLS by being a member and presenter at the Renton Small Business Fair. She enjoys the public contact and helping people with their business needs.
