Due to the cancellation of the Jane Austen Walk due to localised flooding in Chawton / Farringdon we will instead do the Denbies walk this Saturday
Join us to walk around England's largest vineyard and sample some of it's wines. The walk will take you all over the estate and through some woodlands, a church and the country estate of Denbies owner

11.00 am -1.30 pm WALK
Starting at Boxhill / West Humble station , we take the North Downs Way to spectacular views above Dorking. We cross over to Ranmore Church and take a wooded walk down the Hill to fields of grape vines at Denbies Wine Estate .
1.30 pm - 3.00 pm LUNCH AT DENBIES (BRING SANDWICHES OR EAT THERE- lunch costs approx £10)
The vineyards of Denbies Estate are situated on the North Downs with its famous chalky soil, in a protected valley of south facing slopes. A total of 265 acres have been planted which is three times the size of any other vineyard in the UK
You can also do the winery tour / wine tasting, but suggest this is done in the summer or towards year end when we'll be going here again
