Plymouth Meeting, PAUSA
February 16, 2012
Peak Oil, The burgeoning deficit (complete with an obscene trade imbalance), World (and nation) wide depletion of fresh water, Industrial farming with all it's assault on the earth including genetically modified seed, Lack of political will on the part of our leadership, A fiduciary obligation to shareholder profits, An authentic act of Terrorism, Depletion of species, The plight of the bumblebee (how are you going to pollinate all those plants?) Oceans that are fished out and polluted with huge plastic swales, A pandemic, That's my "A" list of concerns
I have studied the problems for several years and am now ready to learn how to prepare for what I see as our inevitable future path.
I believe more people need to live in community to thrive. The suburban model has been a windfall for big business but done much to deplete our national resources, destroy community and isolate us as individuals.
