My name is Eugene Nishinaga. I am the founder and CEO of a software startup company that is developing control software for fixed guideway transportation systems like BART.
I am an entrepreneur currently founding a company to develop and market a control technology that will be an enabling technology for a future when our nation will go from being an auto-centric society to one that is transit-centric. I come from a long career of developing control technology for Boeing (7 yrs), SF BART (25 yrs), and most recently for CyberTran (4 yrs) during which I was their chief technology officer. With the control technology we are developing, future systems will be able to operate driverless vehicles with a vehicle to vehicle separation of under 9 seconds. With this capability, future BART-like systems will be able to use smaller cars and thus operate on much less expensive structures. In fact, studies indicate that BART-equivalent line capacities can be achieved for one quarter the cost. Since the rule of thumb for BART is $100 million a mile this is a $75 million per mile savings.
I am trying to raise capital to launch our company. I would like to hear from potential investors looking for the next big thing in transportation technology.
NO.
I wish there were one in the North Bay. $25 is a bit pricy for those of us who are operating with no income while we are trying to launch our new ventures.
