Niki and Zeus did a great job of describing the need for AR and the reality of AR practice. As an AR practitioner for many years, their content was spot on and provided a very interesting topic of discussion.

Niki did a great job explaining what it takes to develop an effective Analyst Relations (AR) program. A big thanks also to Zeus Kerravale of ZKResearch who shared his insights.

Good point, Anjan. There are many paths to customers' hearts and recommendations by independent analysts is one of them. Can definitely influence the buyer's decision, or reinforce a decision that has already been made.

Also, Niki's comment about customers being 80% thru their buying journey before they will engage with the vendor means that if you can't reach the customer through an influencer (like an analyst or another customer), your chance of influencing the buying decision is minimal

Rich content on how marketers should be working with analysts to build credibility and differentiate their offerings. Having Zeus also share his perspective with Niki enriched the discussion. From a personal perspective, I appreciated learning how Channel Partners work with being influenced by analysts.

Niki brought analyst Zeus Kerravala to share their relationship. It was a living example of a successful relationship with an influencer.
