Social Technology and the Presidential Election: An Insider's Perspective

For a preview of the meeting, here is a blog interview of Giovanni Rodriguez

Social Technology and the Presidential Election:
An Insider's Perspective on the Next Wave of Marketing Innovation

The 2012 presidential race is by far the most sophisticated to date in its design adoption and deployment of a wide range of social technologies and practices. Who is doing what, and what is working? Is social tech playing a leading role or a supporting role? What can we all learn from best practices in Campaign 2012, whether we are in business, government or the NGO world? Giovanni Rodriguez, an adviser to the White House and the Democratic National Committee, will provide SVForum attendees with a close look at the race, with a special focus on data and insights gathered in these final weeks. His POV: "Social will not only help shape the outcome of the election, but will also provide all marketers with a close look at best practices which will become mainstream in the next few years."
