Scaling MongoDB in the Cloud

We'll begin a brief introduction to MongoDB, it's features and the nature of Non-Relational Databases. The discussion continues with an overview of how MongoDB scale with use of sharding and replication.  We'll also cover an introduction to deploying MongoDB on cloud services.

Bryan Reinero: Currently a Software Engineer and Evangelist at 10Gen developing the Java Driver for MongoDB. Bryan has also worked Software Engineering Manager at Valueclick, leading the design and development of large scale online marketing applications for advertising, retargeting, real-time bidding and campaign optimization. Earlier Bryan developed data analysis and signal processing software at NASA Ames Research Center.
