Scaling web services to millions of queries per second, but more importantly to host my unknown personal web site and email from my home network.
My name is Tim Utschig, I am an SVLUG Volunteer. I have been an agnostic Linux user since 1999 and my random tinkerings with it are responsible for my current employment. For that I am very grateful to the community.
My first SVLUG meeting was many years back, when it was meeting at Cisco Systems in San Jose. I have attended many meetings over the years, and especially enjoyed the after-meeting dinners where a small group would meet up at a local restaurant. My favorite part has always been learning by listening to stories from more experienced members. -- Tim Utschig.
