SWAT TEAM stands for Strength and Wellness Adventure Training Team. It is an outdoor group-training program that focuses on the body, mind, and lifestyle of its members through creative fitness tactics, challenging adventures, and promoting healthy lifestyles. SWAT trains the whole body aerobically and anaerobically with out-of-the-box training tactics that are very effective, fun, and always changing. These training tactics will improve your strength, speed, agility, and endurance. SWAT will also test you mentally by exercising to failure, terrain/obstacle negotiation, and endurance adventures. You will be exposed to exercises that you may have never seen or imagined and work muscles you did not know you had. SWAT strongly believes in promoting healthy lifestyles. This is accomplished through education, group events, and accountability. Educational materials will be provided that focus on nutrition, body maintenance, and whole health. Group training and group races/events promote healthy competition, team building, and lasting friendships. Group training will also naturally breed accountability within the group, and we all need to be accountable for this training to be successful in transforming us. SWAT TEAM is led by an experienced and certified personal trainer, Eric Thompson. Eric is not only knowlegeable and motivating, but he's a world-famous fire eater with a fantastic smile!
