SWUX - South West UX Message Board › We're looking for a speaker(s) to give a UX/Usability talk at the Bristol IT
You possibly know, I'm involved as an organiser for the ITMegaMeet this year.
It's a free event, being held on Saturday 1st June 2013 at the UWE Frenchay campus.
It's a great networking opportunity with a focus on the computing/IT related open forum groups/communities in the city.
200 people attended the event last year (its first year). This year we're expecting more people. 180 of these were software/IT professionals and 20 registered as students. Why not come along, network, listen to talks or do a workshop.
Kathryn and myself will be giving a 10minute talk about SWUX at this event.
We're looking for someone to help us out by giving a UX/Usability related talk to around 40 people (30minutes) following our talk under the banner of SWUX. As this group is all about open discussion it seems right to ask if any of you would be interested in giving this talk, which would also help us out tremendously. Your name will be posted on the ITMegaMeet website under schedule details.
Please note as the event is focused on the local tech groups and not about promoting individual companies, company names won't be mentioned unless the company is a sponsor.
If you would like to volunteer to give the UX talk slot please let me know, preferably as soon as possible.

Also, please note this free event is looking for further sponsorship for the food/drink for attendees, with the surplus money going to charity.
