Perfect day to Hike or Mountain Bike Ride at the Auburn Confluence!
Since this area is a great multi-use area. I thought I would give you the option of hiking, running or mountain biking the Stagecoach trail. I plan on taking the flood trail of the Stagecoach to hike up to the top of the Foresthill Bridge from the Auburn Confluence. I don't believe the mountain bikes can go up this trail, so they can continue up the Stagecoach trail to the top of Russel Rd.
Distance: 2 miles Intermediate
Hike:We'll start at the Auburn Confluence and hike up Stagecoach trail. This is an intermediate hike all up hill. Not stroller friendly. After about 3/4 mile we will take the flood road to Moss Hill trail. We will finally arrive at the Foresthill Bridge. Bring your camera, because the views are amazing. Hope you and your family can make it.
Mountain Biking: The Stagecoach Trail is a fire road that is about a 15%-30% grade. Not a trail for beginners. Intermediate
