Thanks for your response...but I am getting ahead of myself....what songs do you have in the Mockingbird Song Book? I am especially interested in those that you have re-lyriced.

I sent you some songs via email and wonder if they were new to you and the type of stuff you do. The songs were from Threepenny Opera, Jacques Brel is Alive and Well (sadly, he isn't but his music is), Paul Robeson singing The House I Live In, and a wonderful choral piece Ballad for Americans.

I can't sing, direct or play an instrument but can stage stuff. I recently directed the 200 performance plus run of The Vagina Monologues.

I saw them but haven't had time to really check them out. Thanks. I love new songs!

    Hi Andi,
Can you tell me a little more about your choir? I play piano and have directed choirs for a million years, but am not participating in any groups right now. Just teaching piano. What kind of stuff do you like to work on? I'm def eclectic in my tastes, but mostly just enjoy ensemble singing and harmonies, whatever the style of music. Do you have enough members to do SATB? Thanks - Shelly Henley

I assume you haven't heard us yet. :-) Yes, we sing in 4 parts. We totally could use a piano player. I play, but I can't conduct and play at the same time. I've take hymns and change the lyrics. We sing "Imagine" and some pirate songs too. If you're familiar with Dan Barker's songs, we do some of his. We could really use another strong soprano, but we'll take anyone! Please join us!!!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
