Do My Little Thing On The Bat Walk

It's too late to sign up for a bat tour by the Yolo Basin Foundation, but I don't see why we couldn't have our own batty time at the Yolo causeway!

Heading east on Chiles road from Mace, right past the Yolo Fruit Stand on the levee road there is parking where we can get out and walk over the the Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area where we can see the bats at sunset.

I figured we could meet about a half-hour before to get situated and talk about bats and then watch when they take off from under the Causeway to eat their dinner.

This is a fun and free event! We can go out afterward for drinks or coffee afterward if anyone would like. Please join us!

*Please note that the marker on google maps is not correct when you click on the link below. Please make sure you have driven east past the Fruit Stand to the corner of Chiles and Levee road.
