Anti-Superstition Team (formerly Counter-Apologetics Group)

Ultimately our goal is to publicly undermine the lies and fallacies apologists use to coerce their targets. Come join the planning of our first scrimmage debate!
We will plant the banner of rea-son in enemy territory. Learn to arm yourselves, and train others. Let’s take this debate to the gates of the evolution-deniers, dominionists and the merely su-perstitious. Be armed. Be trained. Be ready. This is where you begin.
(Newly named Counter-Apologetics Group.)
Location information:
I have reserved the banquet room for this event, so we will have a fairly private meeting with everyone.
Take 80 to Rocklin Rd., it's one block north, away from Sierra College
Round Table Pizza's number: (916)[masked]

I got some good ideas. I know a lot more about Faith than I did before.

I'm from Davis. Immediately adjacent to campus, 90% of the former private residences are now centers for the maintenance of superstition (i.e. faith-based centers). Of course, aggressive religious proselytizing on this 'secular' campus is pretty rampant (I remember it will from the 1970s)...I'm interested in what ideas you have to effectively challenge superstitions propaganda.

I like the sound of that intro. I have some ideas to run past the group. Simple options. I will mostly be listening.

I didn't look at my calendar as carefully as I should have, I have an out of town guest arriving this weekend. I look forward to attending the next one

My only religious friend ( progressive, non-dogmatic type) told me her church, Warehouse Ministries, is having an apologetics class. I laughed and told her about this group. I joked that we should debate some time. She changed the subject. :)
