I have been an atheist, a good, caring one, who believes that no one is wrong! I am more than glad to have met the fine and wonderful members of this group!
Darn, what a hell of a group! I have never met a friendlier group of people in my life and I won't say how long that has been; however, this compliment is definitely grand. I really would like to have thanked each and every one of those with whom I conversed and got to spend a little time. I would say that I left that meeting clamoring for more of the friendship that exudes from this group. Also, I have never been treated more kindly. When I mentioned that it was way out of my way (I am unable to drive due to a handicap) and too difficult to get there on my own, a member of the group promptly offered me a ride. One does not get this kindness all that often. No, it was not much about atheism, which could, in the long run, present a rather boring as well as dreary content if overemphasized. It was more about connecting, looking at one another in they eye and really communicating with one another. I shall remain in this group until it, or I, myself, reaches its own demise.
