We did not make it to the Walk for Farm animals ..:( We moved to Murphys four months ago about 2 hours away from Sac. and we could not make the drive that day. So sorry to have missed it! But I am helping animals up here and starting a TNR up here that is so needed! So many homeless feral cats and kittens that need help. I also have boycotted all the Italian restaurants up here as they all serve veal and they know it because I told them! Hope to see you all soon!

I'm really sad that we didn't make it. We drove out there but my daughter was not feeling well and crying. Today she has a terrible cough so I'm glad we did not spread the germs. I'm also disappointed that there was this Aztec boys coming of age ceremony where they were BBQ huge amounts of meat right next to the walk for farm animals event. Of course it was the meat BBQ ceremony that got the attention in the paper today and not the suffering of all the animals in factory farms.

My daughter and I will be doing the walk and encourage other vegan families to come. Bring on the strollers!

We are going to really try to make it. We don't really need anymore shirts, so we will make a donation when we get there.

My e-mail has been bouncing for some reason so I have been absent from the group...but now I am back - I signed up for the farm walk a while back so I will look forward to seeing the "gang" there - if anyone even knows who I am! ha ha

Hey! I just wanted to offer the friendly reminder, that early adult registration for the Walk is $15. Children can register online for FREE, and in doing that, they will also receive a FREE teeshirt! Adults will get a shirt after they raise $100. So don't forget to register! and feel free to "like" our page on Facebook! Also, this is a dog-friendly event! Yippee!
