Post #: 2
There will be a FREE screening of the documentary film 'Blackfish" for legislative staff and the public at the Crest Theater on Monday, April 7, at 6pm. Doors open at 5 pm and close at 8pm. This showing is sponsored by Assemblyman Richard Bloom and the Animal Welfare Institute in Washington, D. C. "Blackfish" is the highly acclaimed and moving account of the capture of young wild orcas and their subsequent exploitation at marine parks, as well as the death of an orca trainer at SeaWorld. This screening is verified and posted on the theater's calendar: www.thecrest.com. Suggest arriving early for parking on the street or in public parking lots, and the seating at the Crest is limited.
