Meet fellow Belly Dancers in your area! Come to a local Belly Dance Hafla/Showcase to share the joy of belly dancing such as Raqs Sharqi, Egyptian, Turkish, American Tribal Style, and Tribal Fusion. This group of both women and men of any age provides the opportunity to attend haflas and get together to learn about shows, dancers, styles, costuming, makeup, drumming and more! You don't have to be a professional belly dancer to join. Drummers welcome!
Here’s a few simple rules for members/attendees: our dancing is to be respected for its beauty and art. Attendees must be mature, respectful, and have a good attitude.
The idea is to get outside, meet new people, and do something you enjoy or try something new.

the Casbah Lounge, Evening of Middle Eastern dance is a charity event Hafla producd by Vahana's "Hips are for Helping."
The show is held at Annabelle's Chocolate Lounge near Placerville, Ca.
It is a FREE event, but 21 and over only.
Donations are requested for the chosen charity for each show. This December, the show benefits Animal Outreach of the Mother Lode and all donations go to the organization. Read more
