TaKeTiNa- Rhythm Process

The first TaKeTiNa Practice Group

Fee: Suggested donation of $5-$15
Facilitator: Christiana Quick-Cleveland

TaKeTiNa is a rhythm process developed by Austrian master percussionist Reinhard Flatischler.  Participants in a TaKeTiNa circle move within a polyrhythmic framework; using feet, hands, and voice, to connect with the underlying rhythmic archetypes of all world rhythms.  I am certified at the Advanced level to lead people on these rhythm journeys and I need folks to practice with to maintain and develop my skills.

If you are at all interested in experiencing TaKeTiNa, coming to the practice group is a great appetizer for the main course.  It isn't the same thing, but it will give you an idea.

The first two sessions will be held at Health Awakening Studio in Carmichael.  Go to this link for information and directions: http://www.healthawakeningstudio.org/contact-us .

These monthly sessions will be held on the first Sundays of each month:  March 3, April 7, May 5th

Please let me know if you plan to come. Please dress comfortably and bring water.
