Ham Fest

The WPARC Sacramento Valley Hamfest is now in its seventh year. The event has proven to be very popular with both vendors and buyers and is growing every year. We have vendors who come from as far away as Los Angeles and buyers from around the region. The event is limited to ham related items for sale or trade. The club will hold periodic drawings during the Hamfest and there are several valuable prizes including a grand prize of a base station radio (brand and model to be announced soon). Tickets for the drawing will be sold throughout the morning and you need not be present to win. Food will be available. The gates open at 0700 hours.
That special filter or tuner or roll of coax that you have been looking for is probably waiting for you at the Hamfest. There will be all sorts of equipment for sale and you know that what you are looking for will be there at a good price. Just think about that new antenna you want! Don’t miss this event.
Admission is free but if you want to win a prize you have to buy tickets for the drawing. We will have several club members circulating with tickets for sale.
If you are interested in upgrading your license to General or Extra this is the place for you. We will have a full VE Testing Team available to administer your test. We also offer tests for Technician class licenses so if you know someone who is interested in taking their first test we will be ready to help them out.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
