Im starting this group to bring together local people with like interests in plant identification, wild edibles and native skills. It is my belief that nature gives us abundance and with proper care we can teach future generations to help preserve the abundance of the natural world.

I couldn't stand that I would go for a walk in nature and not know what was edible and what would hurt me and I soon realized that this knowledge that has been kept for thousands of years is disappearing amongst the vast majority of the population. I wanted to provide a space where anyone who was interested could gain this wisdom.

My goal in creating this group is to create a perpetual learning environment for myself and anyone that wants to come along This group learns through regular meets for outdoor walks and other events.
