Weimar Institute Trails - Intermediate ~ 7 miles
Sunsplash Park n' Ride (near Shell gas station) (map)
The trails are in a beautiful wooded area just past Auburn inside the Weimar Instute.
I will bring trail maps with a suggested route highlighted. Bring your GPS if you want an exact mileage.
It will probably be ~7 miles.
Hike as much as you choose. The trails connect, so if you get tired you can always find your way back to a meeting spot and wait for your car group. My plan is to skirt the outside edges, definately not all 14 mles of the available trails.
Dogs okay, but please clean up after.
Estimated time to the Weimar Institute parking area is 11:00am.
Directions from Sacramento:
Take I-80 E.
Take the exit towards WEST PAOLI LANE.
Turn left at end of ramp
Turn left over bridge
Turn right into Weimar Center
