This is a group for anyone interested in better understanding the energetics of how the energy that courses through their body affects their health. This will be explained through the theories of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) which has a history of over 3,000 years, based on human observations. Then to utilize Medical Qigong techniques of intention, breath, and posture, along with gentle movements to bring back harmony and balance within ourselves to achieve better health. You do not have to have any prior knowledge or experience in qigong exercises to participate.
I started this group because I want to share what I know in the hopes of making a positive influence in others' lives, and hope that they will then pass on the same information to others causing a healing ripple effect. We all go through difficult transitions in life, and I believe Medical Qigong can be a tool to help with that transition. I am not a psychoanalyst, but we can discuss things that may help clarify or bring about a better understanding of how our emotions can affect our health from the perspective of TCM.
