Politics and Philosophy Happy Hour

Who's interested in another happy hour? Maybe we could discuss environmental issues, including the supposed conflict between commerce/jobs/economic development and sustainable living/biodiversity.

Yeah, good point about the noise. I enjoyed the lively atmosphere, but next time maybe we'll try some place a little easier to have a conversation with a group of that size. Any suggestions?

Very welcoming meetup. I would give this a higher, but the location was not the best for a discussion - challenging to listen and talk over the noise.

Yes there will be a sign saying "Sacramento Politics and Philosophy Group" on the table, which I will try to post in an upright position to it is easy to see. I'm also going to try to reserve an outdoor table in advance of the meeting

Are we going to have one of those little meetup signs on a table? I tried going to another event at LoBrau but didn't recognize anybody or anything and just wound up leaving

I'm a maybe. I belonged to a similar group called The Issues You Don't Talk About Cafe (before I moved here) and loved it. Would like to participate in this but my schedule is a bit dicey. Fingers crossed that I can make it happen.
