Russian River Canyon

Beautiful time of year for a ride through the Russian River area on the way to the coast.

Details to come from your Road Captain. In the progress of ride planning. Any objections to I 80 home from Cordilla? This will be a long ride and we could double back through Berryessa. This is your ride, let me know what you think. Thanks, Jerry

OK gang, here's the plan. 128 out of Winters to 121 to 116 to Rio Nido and the coast. Haven't done the pre-ride yet so will find a place to eat, maybe Jenner? Back down Hwy 1 to Valley Ford then to Petaluma. Hwy 12 to I 80 at Cordilla. I'm getting the OK to use I 80 as the route back to Sac so if everyone is good with that we'll form a tight group and stay in the right lane. Or, I could ask Rick if he knows any goat trails we could take back to town. It should be a very scenic ride!

Pre-ride done, this will be a good one. About 270 miles start to finish at W. Sac. We are looking at about 6 1/2 to 7 hours in the saddle, 8 1/2 to 9 hours total. I think you'll like this one. See you there..........

Great job, Jerry. You didn't let the mist beat us. And Berryessa and Bodega were stunning. Thanks!

Hey James, thanks for looking at this. Great bike and one I want to work towards getting. I just need to give myself a little more time to put some miles under my belt. But thanks again. I really appreciate your interest.

Started out a little less than hoped for, a little drizzle in Napa and again in Cotati but a couple miles out of town and it was great. Great lunch, little fog on the coast then low 70s on the way home. Thanks to the brave souls that went, looking forward to another ride.

Has the date been officially changed? It still shows up as 4/6 on the calendar. I just don't want to sow up 24 hours late!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
