For any photographers that are looking to learn how to better communicate with their models, improve their posing techniques I am conducting a posing workshop on Sunday April 18th in a commercial studio space near Arden Mall. I will have 2 - 3 models for the class.

During the workshop we will cover the following topics:

First Hour

• Brief lighting introduction ~20 minutes
  
• Posing basics (do's and don'ts) ~20 minutes
  
• Examples with tethered shooting ~20 minutes
  
  Second Hour
  
• Break in to two groups
  
• Each group shoots with a model 25 minutes
  
• 5 minute break and rotate models
  
• Each group shoots with a model 25 minutes
  
  
  Third Hour
  
• Brief Q and A with class while the models change outfits
  
• Each group shoots with a model 25 minutes
  
• 5 minute break and rotate models
  
• Each group shoots with a model 25 minutes
  

This will be a great opportunity for anyone that has been wanting to shoot models in a studio, improve their posing communication skills, obtain shots for their portfolio ...

The class is $100 per person and will include a model release for promotional/portfolio use. Also if you bring a buddy you can save 50% for the both of you and only pay $150. You must pay to RSVP and I expect the class to fill up pretty quickly.
