This is a nice, level bike trail that follows Lagunitas Creek into the park. From our meeting location outside of the park, we'll use the old road bridge to cross over Lagunitas Creek and follow it through an upland (grassland) area. About halfway along the trail, we enter a majestic redwood forest and then continue on to the picnic tables to enjoy our lunch.
Includes a quick stop on our way to the hike at the Marin Cheese Factory (where you can purchase sandwiches, cheeses, and sodas, beer or wine for your lunch). Public restrooms are available at the Cheese Factory.
