This is a group for anyone interested in hiking and "bagging peaks", but at a slower pace. If you enjoy hiking but sometimes feel like you are "holding up the group", then you might want to try this group. I started this group because I enjoy hiking but I am not as fast as I used to be. I still "bag" peaks like Mt Tallac, Half Dome and Mt Whitney, just at a slower pace. If you are new to hiking, rehabbing an injury, not as young as you used to be, or just wanting a healthier lifestyle, come join us. This group is not about fast, this group is about the journey and the mutual patience we all need to make it to the top!
