Announcing the Rio Linda Grange Community Learning Garden Series
The Rio Linda Grange presents a monthly garden series the fourth Saturday of the month from 10-2pm to start in April. The focus will be on regeneration of our lands, food security, and resilient communities. If you have poor soil, not much space, a brown thumb or generally just clueless come see us! We are here to help, educate and encourage! There may be a small fee for some speaker workshops but most workshops will just ask for a small donation to help the garden build, pay for water, etc. We are a non-profit, non-partisan fraternal organization that advocates for rural America and agriculture, with a strong history in grassroots activism, family values and community service. The Rio Linda Grange #403 has been in the community since 1924.
The first workshop in our series will be focusing on the intriguing world of mushrooms and their benefits and uses for health, food, and land remediation followed by a Past Masters Potluck Dinner at 4:30 pm to commemorate National Grange Month. All are welcome!
