The knowledge, history, and community of growing your own food has been rapidly dwindling over the last 20-50 years. Many of us are coming back to our roots (or creating new ones), realizing that how we treat the earth and what we put inside ourselves is more important than we ever knew. As I tried to search out those with like-minded ideas upon which to draw knowledge I discovered that our local Grange has always been there to help and share. Whether we grow 50 acres or a 10th of an acre, all are welcomed. Please join us for our annual pot-luck to celebrate the Grange and welcome those interested in learning what the Grange is all about!

Meet and Greet runs from 2:30 to 4:30 with dinner around 4-5 ish.

There is another event I would like to invite you to: Come learn about which plants/trees do best when planted with others that have beneficial functions. What plants are nitrogen fixing and why is that important to young trees? How about grass suppressor? Just as people aren't designed to live and function alone - tree, bushes, and plants are happier in a rich and diverse community.

But I need your email address so that I can get 2 more RSVPs to post on this meetup site. I don't understand why meetup does this, it makes it hard to get events out...

    Thanks, Jennifer
