I have read alot on the topic and I follow several pod casts. I have my own growing permaculture garden and always try to implement sustainable, recycle, and reuse into my projects.
I built my house myself, and I don't mean I hired a contractor, I mean I bought a hammer and nails and built the house by myself.
Knowledge, knowledge, knowledge? Someone to give me some tips on raising chickens in a small area? Are goats really practical on a quarter acre property? Solar power? Free/cheap local resources.
All the above, I don't believe one works too well without the others.
I have a degree in landscape architecture from Cal Poly. I currently work from home as a graphic designer. I recently bought and built my house on a .24 acre lot in Lincoln and want to use permaculture practices as a sustainable lifestyle for living.
Good Group of folks. I learned quite a few things that I will incorporate into my chicken coop when I build it.
