Come join your fellow vegans/vegetarians/wannabe vegheads for a "partly cloudy day with a 10% chance of rain" for a slurp of one of Robek's vegan smoothies, a bite of others' snack offerings, a vegan plastic Easter Egg Hunt, and a Spring Plant Exchange!

1) Please bring "just a little something" of a vegan snack for others to share. Please post with your RSVP what you will be bringing. And, as usual, bring plate/cup/utensils.

2) For the vegan kids: a plastic egg Vegan Easter Egg Hunt. Just bring your kids - Alison has offered to provide the plastic eggs with vegan treats inside. I'm pretty sure she will provide the Easter Bunny services, too. Please post with your RSVP how many kids you will be bringing.

3) Bring a small plant to participate in the Spring Plant Exchange.

4) Robek's Smoothies is a short walk from the park. After all of the above, we can walk over and get one of their vegan smoothie options!

    I'm really sorry to everyone for the lack of foresite in choosing this spot to meet. We had a lovely spot on the grass under a tree, but I had no idea what a HUGE place this area is and that I really needed to be much more specific in describing the place to meet. Next time. . .

    The map that you linked to shows about 20 sets of picnic tables, so I'm sorry but I am still not sure where to meet. We will be at Fairytale town by about 10 (so already inside). There are also a few sets of picnic tables inside Fairytale Town (by the garden, by the snack kiosk, and several others around -- i.e., by the wigwam, etc.). I really don't want to miss this -- can you please be more specific?? Thanks!!

    • “ I am so disheartened because I really wanted to be apart of this group but it never seems to work out. Parking was impossible, the lines and crowds were thick. Even if we had found parking there was no way would could have found the group. Maybe meeting somewhere less crowded next time and ride sharing to the crowded part... this would come in handy for downtown restaurants as well. My friend and I went to Robek's instead and waited but I guess not long enough. ”
