Who likes this:Some Saturday get lunch at Sunflower on Fair Oaks Blvd., and go eat in the park right across the street. We can literally veg-out with the chickens!!

Who likes this:There have been numerous vegan bake sales across the world and we have not had one in Sacramento.
Find a place with a lot of traffic (say at a vegan friendly gallery/store/etc) on a busy day--like a second saturday and sell delicious baked goods from the members. Proceeds would go to a local animal shelter/haven, like Animal Place, my favorite.

Who likes this:Carmita's is an organic, vegetarian restaruant on Sunrise and Madison. Vegan options are available. Their falafels and spicy carrots are yummy!
