Introduction
This 20-year vegan has been vegan-community-less
for too long! I'm hoping to connect with cool, like-minded people for fun and emotional support!
What would you like to get out of vegan meetup?
Positive connections hopefully resulting in strong, healthy friendships. Fun and laughs in a relaxing, I-can-be-myself environment, too!!
What was your weirdest non-veg craving? C'mon you can admit it...
I try not to recall cravings for cruelty-derived things! I am saddened that I ever had them!
How long have you been vegan?
20 years--I wish it were many more!
What made you decide to try the vegan lifestyle?
I attended the North American Vegetarian Society Convention at HSU in August, 1989. I hate being a hypocrite, and as much as I LOVE non-humans, there was no turning back for this already compassionate and vicarious vegetarian...being vegan is the BEST! Although the resultant awareness(that keeps on growing) can get pretty heavy sometimes...that's where the vegan comrades come in handy!!!
