Help us celebrate the Great American Meatout—the world's largest annual grassroots diet education campaign, begun by the Farm Animal Rights Movement (FARM) in 1985. Throughout the world, people are asked to pledge to "kick the meat habit" on March 20 (first day of spring) and explore a wholesome, nonviolent diet of fruits, vegetables, legumes, and whole grains.
In honor of Meatout, Vegan chef Raphael Kendall is offering a special prix-fixe dinner of delectable vegan fare.
$30 includes three-course dinner w/(vegan) beer pairings (Eel River);
$25 for non-alcoholic beverage option.
Please sign up here, but you must RSVP to the restaurant at[masked] to secure your reservation.
The Sacramento Vegetarian Society is co-sponsoring this event with Sacramento Vegan Challenge and Sacramento Vegan Society Meetup.
