WELCOME to the GREATEST HIKING and ADVENTURE GROUP in SACRAMENTO!!!! Meet other fun people who like the outdoors and adventure as much as you do! It’s about staying healthy and active by participating in a variety of outdoor sports like indoor rock climbing, hiking, walking, kayaking, scuba diving, parasailing, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, downhill skiing, snowboarding, camping, backpacking, zip lining, skydiving, white water rafting, bowling, dog sledding, horseback riding, etc. It’s about the social events like BBQ’s, Happy Hour & dinners! There’s something for everyone and there’s never any pressure participate – YOU PICK & CHOOSE! You’re in control of your level of involvement. Plus we offer kid friendly and dog friendly trails and events!! A brief BIO and your PICTURE are required (No animation, cartoon, scenic pictures allowed as your main SHAG profile picture).

Leaderless Policy: All events are treated as technically leaderless events for liability purposes. Everyone that participates are doing so as social committments and are personally responsible for their decision to participate and at their own risk. We are not trainers or guides and this is not a service for learning outdoor sports. You are the leaders. We serve as a bulletin board or forum of events. Having said that, we are also friends looking out for each other, in or out of the water / event. As organizers, we are merely facilitators or volunteers ourselves. "leaderless event" simply means that the organizer may / will not participate.
