The Sacred Fire Community sponsors monthly community fires in six countries around the world. We create opportunities for heart-felt connection and community in a time of isolation and disconnection from each other and nature. The fires are open to people from all walks of life and all traditions, or none. Sitting in the sacred space that Fire provides, we share our lives, our stories, our gifts, and receive the respectful support of community.
As part of the Fire ceremony at Community Fire gatherings, specific offerings of wood, copal (tree resin), chocolate (cocoa beans), and tobacco are provided and offered to the Fire to all those who wish to participate in this exchange. In respect for each other and the sacred space created, the consumption of alcohol is not allowed at the pot luck dinner or around the Fire. Illegal and recreational drugs are not allowed on the property at any event.
