"Don’t count on sex to be the door to intimacy. It’s the other way around: first develop intimacy skills, then make love to enjoy them." Margot Anand
All are welcome, whether you are a daka or dakini who has been practicing for many years, or are new to tantra; whether you are partnered or single. Let’s come together to share experiences, socialize, and support one another in our practices. This is a monthly practice group focused on Tantric breathing techniques. Learn and practice basic Tantra techniques including eye gazing, chakra meditation, basic breath, PC pump, partner breathing, and Tantra Bodywork.
What is Western Tantra? My definition is contemporary practice of sacred sexuality and authentic connection that integrates yoga philosophy, pranayama (breathwork), bodywork/massage, psychology, communication, movement (e.g. dance), sex education, and whatever other tools a specific teacher may use.
This monthly group is a great way to learn and practice Tantra. I will lead the group through exercises focused on Tantric breath, compassionate communication, healing, and nurturing touch. Through these four foundational practices, you will:
Bring spirituality and sacredness to intimacy and sex.
Set boundaries, ask for what you want, and speak your truth.
Heal sexual/emotional wounds through the body. Read more
