All Hands on Deck, All Boats on the Water! 8/23

Community Boating is excited to host our 2nd Annual All Boats on the Water Day--please join us for a historical moment on Saturday, August 23rd at noon for a goal of getting our entire fleet out on the Charles River!!

Last year, we were able to get 120 of our fleet on the water. Community Boating has 170+ sailboats, kayaks, standup paddleboards, and windsurf boards, and we invite everyone to come participate in our challenge! This year, we believe we can do it!!!

There will be free Ben & Jerry's ice cream, an afternoon B.good cookout, and refreshing beverages from Polar Seltzer. We'll be raffling off some awesome prizes, including a Full Year Adult membership, and bringing back the Dunk the Director Challenge to raise money for our fleet. We'll also be offering 50% off select CBI merchandise and free guest privileges for purchases of Full Year memberships or 60-Day Boating passes on the day of the event.

Be sure to come to the boathouse and bring a friend or two. All are welcome! If you'd like to meet other people who are interested in sailing or other watersports activities we offer, this is a great chance to interact with those both new to sailing or highly experienced with years under their belts. You don't want to miss out!

One day kayak rentals are available on a first come, first serve, as are one day sailboat rentals for those with prior sailing experience. Only members are able to take out paddleboards, windsurfs, and sailboats otherwise. Members may offer to help bring on guests if they call for crew through the dock house on the day of the event. If you'd like the opportunity to be a guest, please register in advance at www.community-boating.org/guest.

You may also come by the Community Boating boathouse any day at 5:45PM for a FREE Orientation class to learn about what CBI has to offer.

Come help support Community Boating and get out on the water!

Hi, I do not know how to sail, but can help out and want to learn. I do kayak and paddboard. Be happy to take a kayak, paddleboard out, or assist at sailing.
Let me know how I can join in.
    Thanks
