If you haven't heard yet, it's a record year for the number of whales just offshore. Come join us for a great time!
We'll be out for about 4 hours, but as our time is dependent upon how soon we find whales, it could run longer. Please be there early, as departure time is 12:00 noon.
Everyone always has a great time on these outings. Our average group size is around 15.
We’ll meet at the San Diego Sheraton on Harbor Island (details below). Please bring finger foods or snacks to share, and drinks for yourself. Beer and wine are welcome. We'll have bottled water and coolers with ice, plus hot chocolate and coffee. We also contribute to snacks for what is usually a potluck of snacks. Please wear tennis, or boat-type shoes with closed toes, and bring a jacket.
We’ll have a licensed captain and crew aboard. A tip for the crew is appreciated, if you think they did a great job.
The cost is $45 (less than 1/2 the regular public price of $110), payable on our website with PayPal. After you RSVP please pay right away. "Click Here", scroll down and click on “purchase”, this takes you to PayPal, enter the amount, click “update total” and down at the bottom click “continue”, then follow the instructions.
We are the first boat on the dock at the Sheraton marina.
Check with me if you want to RSVP for more than 3 guests.
Directions: The Sheraton is located directly across from the airport. When you turn on to Harbor Island from North Harbor Drive, the Sheraton is on your right. The marina is located directly behind the hotel. Jada is the first boat on the dock.
Parking: The Sheraton charges for parking. We will provide a validation sticker that reduces the price to $8 per car. To park at the Sheraton pull into the main entrance to the Hotel, take an immediate right into the parking lot and follow the road toward the back/marina side of the hotel. The road will curve gently left past some tennis courts before ending in a turn around. Park as close as you can to the turn around and then follow the pathway at the back of the hotel to the marina entrance, which will be obvious on your right.
There is also free street parking within a couple of blocks on Harbor Island, or at Spanish Landing.
