Permaculture Poker night

  • Needs a date

  • Needs a location

  • Come out for a night of poker and Permaculture chat. We'll be playing with the Permaculture playing cards produced by Paul Wheaton and Alexander Ojeda.

Each card has a permaculture related topic and some information about why it's a beneficial thing to know.

The plan is for at least one free game and maybe a penny ante game or two; you know, to make things interesting.

There will also be a drawing to give away a deck or two of cards! *(Depends on the turnout)

Ryan will have some decks of Permaculture cards for sale at $20 each, Profits go to keep the STL Permaculture meetup group sustainable.

If you have a suggestion for the location/date please pipe up!

I'm looking at a couple locations but I thought I'd put this up to get some recommended options! I'm guessing we could get a group of 10-20 together, RSVP if you're interested and we'll find out our approximate turnout.

Just joined the group, sounds like a great way to meet everyone. I work nights as well, so if I know a week in advanced I can request off, a weeknight is better for me, I am excited to go if I can!

I'm game any nite after 7:30. I have plenty of chips to bring and can help explain the game to newcomers. Look foward to meeting you!

Quite alright. It's an easy game to learn and there are lots of fun variations.

I'll raise you two turnips for that eggplant. : ) I haven't really ever played cards. Would this be beginner card shark friendly?

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
